Monthly Motivation: The White Dress

Last month, we received a beautiful white dress in mint condition, possibly once worn as a flower girl dress for a wedding. As our volunteers processed it, we weren’t sure who might need it, but it was simply too lovely not to display in our boutique.

Within days, a mom walked in, headed straight to the dress, and asked if it was available. When we said yes, tears welled up in her eyes. She shared that she had been worrying about how to afford a dress for her daughter’s first communion and now, she didn’t have to worry. The dress had found her.
