Government Shutdown Affecting HCC
Due to the ongoing government shutdown and suspension of SNAP benefits, HCC is seeing a 50% increase in brand-new guests every day. Families are lining up early, and we’re working hard to keep up with the growing demand for food, hygiene items, and clothing.
This is our moment to come together and serve our neighbors in a powerful way!
Here’s how you can help right now:
Donate Food & Hygiene Items:
Drop off non-perishable foods, diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6), wipes, and essential hygiene items at any HCC location open 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- HCC West Phoenix: Open Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
- HCC Maryvale: Open Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
- HCC North: Open Monday, Wednesday & Saturday

Give Clothing:
Gently used clothing of all sizes is needed — especially children’s, men’s, and winter items.
